Congratulations to all the boys who have written thousands of lines of code this week as part of the Hour of Code initiative. The aim is to interest boys and girls all over the world in coding and the boys in St. Joseph’s are really enjoying the challenges posed and we have some programmers of the future. For the past few weeks we have been working on Scratch and this week we’re using Javascript.

The Senior Team played very well in the Final of Sciath na nGearaltach in Croke Park only to be defeated by St. Michaels. It is a day that will always be remembered by the boys lucky enough to have the opportunity to play on the Croke Park pitch. The boys played played with great courage and fought to the very end

Congratulations to the senior football team on reaching the final of Sciath na nGearaltach after a thrilling semi final against Killester on Friday. The team, managed by Mr. Ring and Mr. Brennan, fought courageously in a very tense game to come out as victors by a narrow margin.
