Target Boards
After a week of maths the 6th classes, Ms. Bleahene and Mr. Brennan, win the Target Board challenge beating every other school in Ireland. Ms Molloy’s 4th class, after a late start came in 5th overall in Ireland. The boys worked really hard and the success of the weeks maths could be summarised in the one overheard comment ‘I never knew that maths could be so much fun’

Working hard at Target Boards for Maths Week
This is maths week http://www.mathsweek.ie/ in Ireland. As part of our numeracy strategy we have many engaging activities for the boys in St. Joseph’s. Each pupil has been provided with passwords to access each of the following using any device with internet access. We would encourage pupils to avail of this opportunity to use ICT to improve their mathematical skills.

- Khan Academy https://www.khanacademy.org/ – 2nd to 6th class
- Mangahigh https://www.mangahigh.com/en-gb/ – 1st to 6th Class.
