As we head into sunny days and long, bright evenings we are promoting an active, healthy lifestyle over the next few weeks with the help of our visiting PE expert, Melina from Munich University.
Sports evening (see provisional schedule) will be on Weds. May 23rd at 6.30pm in the VEC Grounds, Templeogue Rd. Other activities include Walk to School, Fyffes Fit Squad, tennis and cricket coaching, Yoga with Ms. Larmer, before-school athletics training for Santry, tag rugby, after-school hurling(senior and junior teams), Terenure College Gaelic football blitz and more. Photos will be added to this gallery.
Unfortunately, the weather let us down again this year for our school sports and we had to postpone it. However, on Friday the sun shone, the boys put on the competition faces and we had a great day in the VEC grounds.

We’re all active and having fun this week for Active Schools Week
Activities we are participating in include hurling, cricket, tag rugby, shot putting, bocce, running, dance, hand ball, chess, tennis, yoga and more.
We were delighted to welcome two physiotherapy students from UCD to talk to the boys from 3rd to 6th classes about exercise and healthy eating. Ben Kirwan and Kieran Purcell gave very informative and useful presentations. Many thanks to them.
Tommy, the hurling coach, came in to give the classes a ‘taster session’ in hurling. The infants classes showed great promise and we can expect that many of them will represent the school in Croke Park in the future.
