Winners

Congratulations to Finn and Dillon on being awarded gold medals for their fantastic work during maths week in October. The medals were awarded by Mangahigh. Adrian attained the highest score in the school on Duolingo  (Irish) and he was awarded a special t-shirt for his achievement.

After a week of maths the 6th classes, Ms. Bleahene and Mr. Brennan, win the Target Board challenge beating every other school in Ireland. Ms Molloy’s 4th class, after a late start came in 5th overall in Ireland. The boys worked really hard and the success of the weeks maths could be summarised in the one overheard comment ‘I never knew that maths could be so much fun’

Congratulations to Brendan and Ross .

They played for the Dublin Primary Schools hurling team on Friday against Belfast. They won well and played brilliantly in the backs. The future for Joey’s hurling looks bright.

The Green Committee and Mr. Concannon have worked tirelessly over the past two years to ensure that St. Joseph’s retains our Green School status. Their hard work  was recognised by Green Schools Ireland when St. Joseph’s was awarded yet another green flag. The new flag was officially raised today by Mr. Concannon, the Green Committee and Ms. McCabe.
