Some classic books to read
We were privileged to have Tomi Reichental in the school to talk to senior classes last week. Tomi survived the Holocaust as a young boy in a German concentration camp. Here he tells of the day the adults in his group (including his mother and grandmother) thought they were all being brought to the gas chambers.

Junior citizens meet some Seniors!!
Boys from Mr. O’Flynn’s and Ms. Harte’s classes visited the Evergreen Hall in Terenure recently where they interviewed the senior citizens. The boys had plenty of History questions about life back in the day and both groups were full of chat. They were especially interested in hearing about Elsa’s childhood as she grew up in Germany during the second world war. Mark and Justin provided musical entertainment!!
