Our first run of the school year, the Clonliffe Harriers Schools XC took place at the beautiful Santry Demense. No medals on this occasion but the boys represented St. Joseph’s very well indeed with Gareth taking an outstanding 6th place(out of 200 runners!) in the 5th class race running against boys up to two years older than him. Well done everyone! Photos.

We are continuing a long tradition in St. Joseph´s by running a 3rd and 4th class football league in the first term. It started today and will continue for the next four Wednesdays, weather permitting. Some present football Dublin superstars (Eoghan O´Gara and Denis Bastick) played their first football matches in this league many years ago. Thanks to Mr. Concannon for organising, the other teachers who helped supervise and the 6th class boys who are refereeing. Click below to see more photos.

Well done to all our athletes who represented St. Joseph´s with distinction on both days. We finished the two days with eight golds and one bronze medal. Our Under 10, Under 11 and Under 12 teams were all lucky enough to come away with the cup and gold medals. Hard luck to the Under 14 team who also ran their socks off against some very strong competition. A special thank you to Melina who has flown in from Munich to help with Active Week, Santry preperation and Sports evening (Weds June 7th at 6.30pm). More photos will be posted here and video clips will be uploaded here.
