“Tweet your Treat” for the Christmas Cake Sale – Friday December 16th

Every year we are amazed by the fun and fantastic baked creations made by the boys, parents and grandparents for the St. Josephs Christmas cake sale.  This year, we want to share these with you and entice you to join us at the cake sale during the morning of Friday 16th December and also, to show off the talents of our brilliant bakers.  So we are asking any of our bakers to “Tweet your Treat” once its ready for the cake sale.

What to do: Simply tweet a photo of your cake and tag @stjosephspa #joeyscakesale

Remember to add your name if you are not the owner of the Twitter account.

If Twitter is not your thing, you can text or WhatsApp a photo to Jean on 0877825337 and she will tweet if for you


Raffle @ Christmas Cake Sale

The Annual Fundraiser Raffle will take place at the cake sale on December 16th, with some wonderful prizes to win.

Watch out for tickets, available for you to purchase, in the boys schoolbags! If you would like any extra, more are available in the school office. Even if you cannot attend the cake sale, if possible, please support our fundraising efforts by purchasing a ticket. Proceeds will go towards computer studies and sports equipment for the school this year




Tickets cost €5 each or 5 tickets (in a book) for €20

School Social – Thank you

A huge “Thanks” to everyone who helped organize & joined us at the social on Saturday 3rd of December.  We especially send thanks to parents and sponsors for their ongoing generosity and support for this annual event.

It was a great night, with good food, dancing & lots of craic.  We hope that you all enjoyed yourselves. Any feedback and ideas that you have for next year would be warmly welcomed, to help ensure that this event continues to be a night for parents and teachers involved with the school, to get to know each other and have a well-deserved break from busy schedules J

bagtoschoolIf you are clearing out unwanted textiles over the Christmas – keep in mind that we will have our 2nd Bag2school collection of the year on Tuesday 17th of January.  It is great way to help raise money for the school and at the same time Bag2School will donate an additional 10% to LauraLynn, on top of what is paid to your school.

Christmas Cake Sale & Raffle – Friday December 16th

christmasWe would love to see you at the Joey’s Christmas Cake Sale in the Parish Hall on Friday 16th December. The classes are brought over to sample and buy some cakes & treats, so if you are unable to join us, please be sure to put some change in your son’s bag so he can select some treats and if you are lucky, will save one for you to enjoy later.

There shall be tea, coffee and cakes available for parents during the day and rumor has it that a surprise guest may break a busy schedule to make an appearance for the younger boys 🙂


Annual Social Evening – Saturday Dec 3rd

Tickets are now on sale for our annual social evening in Castle Golf Club, Rathfarnham on Saturday 3rd – They cost €35 each & are available in the school office.pa_social

Tickets are limited and sell out quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

 Save the date for the PA Social Evening – Saturday 3rd December

calendarThis years annual social evening will be in the Castle Golf Club, Rathfarnham on Saturday 3rd December @ 8pm. The purpose of the evening is for parents to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere and always proves to be a really enjoyable night with dinner and dancing until late. We will keep you informed when tickets become available closer to the date.

After-School Service

Limited places are available each year for the Junior & Senior Infant boys to attend the After-School service from 1.30pm to 2.30pm in the Annex (New Building).  This facility is co-ordinated by the Parent Association in conjunction with Manor Montessori Nursery.

Who we are

All parents of children in the school are members of the Parent Association.  You are more than welcome to participate in any of our meetings or activities, committing as much or as little time as you can. If you would like to become involved in any capacity, please reach out to any committee member or class representative or come along to one of our meetings.

To oversee, coordinate & support PA activities, a committee is elected every September and parents volunteer class as representatives
