Today we had a dress up day to finish off our week of celebrations. We had some very sad and cross looking faces as we went back to the ‘good old’ school days.

Balloon Release POP !!!
Our balloon release turned into a balloon POP which was much more fun – all of Terenure could hear our celebrations!

All Ireland winning Denis Bastick and Eoghan O’Gara brought Sam Maguire to St. Joseph’s BNS today to help us celebrate our 150 years. Denis and Eoghan are past pupils of our school and they were joined by the Dublin hurlers Chris and Neil Bennett and Jack McVeigh. They spoke to the boys about their memories of St. Joseph’s and they answered some very probing questions from the audience. We wish to thank our visitors and hope that they have played a part in inspiring the next generation.
