It was a game of two halves……. in the first half, we weren’t up to the required standard and by half time it looked like a win was beyond us.
As soon as the whistle to start the second half went, a different Joey’s emerged!
An early goal really inspired us to go on and try and win it. With our defenders on top, in particular Hugo Glennon, tightly marking the Scoil Maeruan’s number 8, it was hard for them to get any chance on goal.
Our scores kept ticking over and a great second half performance saw us pull though to get the win, 1 goal and 7 points to 8 points.
