What a wonderful maths week we’ve had, despite the rain!
There were lots of maths trails happening all around the school and garden. Senior boys helped the juniors to read and answer the questions.
Tables challenges, countdown conundrums, target boards and lots of other online activities were taken on – one class even challenged all the staff that happened to walk their way. This opened up lots of discussion and laughter.
Patterns were made using beads, pegs, blocks and anything else that could be found in the classrooms.
Catapults were made and distances measured.
And as for the magnetic outlines – I wonder how long they were???
